Sunday on the Porch

Sunday on the Porch 2012 ~ call for artists

We had a wonderful time on the porch throughout the summer at the gallery in Pickering's Nautical Village and we would like to repeat bringing art and artists to the public. Depending on the weather we may start in May and go until October again. In our first year we have found that Sundays between 2 and 4 pm work best.

If you are a PRAC member and would like to be the featured artist on the porch one Sunday afternoon, please contact Mary Cook.

Visual artists, in addition to showing a few pieces of finished work, you must have something to work on as people love to watch a piece develop.

Performing artists, we have an electrical outlet, so if you need to plug your guitar in, you will need your own amplifier. We also have neighbours very close by, so we cannot be loud.

Sunday on the Porch is a volunteer programme designed to promote an awareness of the arts.
